PERSONNEL POLICY

1.26.010 Adoption.
The city council of the city of Ritzville adopts by this reference the City of Ritzville, Washington Personnel Policy dated the sixteenth day of April, 1985, and any amendments thereto. (Ord. 750 § 1, 1985).
1.26.020 Policy provisions.
The policy adopted in this chapter covers the following items: conditions of employment, personnel actions, discipline and procedures, job classifications and salaries, attendance and leave, provisions for vacations, grievance procedures, policies on workman safety, hiring policy, a separability clause, establishes a city personnel committee and defines functions of the committee. (Ord. 750 § 2, 1985).
1.26.030 Amendments – Generally.
Any major substantive amendments to the personnel policy shall require the approval of the city council of the city of Ritzville, either by resolution or ordinance. (Ord. 750 § 3, 1985).
1.26.040 Copy provided to employees.
Prior to their employment by the city of Ritzville, each employee shall be provided with a copy of the City of Ritzville, Washington Personnel Policy and shall subscribe to and accept the provisions therein. (Ord. 750 § 5, 1985).
