SPEED LIMITS

8.32.010 Established.
Determination has been made by the city council of the city of Ritzville that the street speed limits be established by the following:
A. Basic rules and maximum limits as per RCW 46.61.400.
B. Local authority may establish or alter maximum limits as per RCW 46.61.415. (Ord. 2113 § 1, 2017; Ord. 772 § 1, 1986).
8.32.020 School and playground crosswalks.
Maximum speed limit when passing school and playground crosswalks shall be in accordance with RCW 46.61.440. (Ord. 2113 § 1, 2017; Ord. 789 §§ 1, 2, 1987; Ord. 772 § 2, 1986).
8.32.030 Superintendent of public works – Duties.
The superintendent of public works is ordered to purchase and install the proper signs for enforcement of the provisions of the ordinance codified in this chapter. (Ord. 2113 § 1, 2017; Ord. 772 § 3, 1986).
