2.85.010 Purpose and intent.

It is the purpose and intent of this chapter that all persons shall have equal opportunity with respect to employment, employment opportunities, and all other activities of the city of Roslyn. [Ord. 521 § 1, 1974.]

2.85.020 Discrimination.

Discrimination against any applicant for employment, or against any employee, officer, agent, or any other person with respect to any and all employment, contracts, activities and functions of the city of Roslyn, on the basis of race, color, age, sex, religion, national origin or minority status is hereby expressly prohibited. [Ord. 521 § 2, 1974.]

2.85.030 Appeal.

Any person who feels he or she has been discriminated against, contrary to this chapter, shall have a direct appeal, either orally or in writing, to the city council of the city of Roslyn, and the city council shall afford such person a full and fair hearing on the subject. [Ord. 521 § 3, 1974.]
