INTERFUND LOANS

3.44.010 Interfund loans.
The San Juan County council hereby resolves as follows:
A. That the County finance committee be authorized to approve interfund loans of short duration (less than one year) and limited amount (less than $50,000); loans of larger amounts or longer duration shall be referred to the County council for approval; and
B. That loans to the highly seasonal lodging tax fund may be approved by the County finance committee in amounts up to $150,000; and
C. That interest be assessed on all interfund loans of more than one week’s duration at a rate equal to the current net earnings rate of the Washington State Local Government Investment Pool plus 75 basis points (0.75 percent). (Res. 22-2007 §§ 1, 2, 3)
