2.12.020    Duties of director of financial services/treasurer.

2.12.010 Department created.

The department of financial services is created. The department shall be managed by the director of financial services who shall also be and serve as the treasurer of the city of Shelton. The director of financial services shall be appointed by, report to and be supervised by the city manager. 2.12.020 Duties of director of financial services/treasurer.

The director of financial services/treasurer shall be responsible for all financial transactions of the city and for ensuring that same is carried out according to generally accepted accounting principles and the state of Washington budget, accounting and reporting system. The director/treasurer shall be responsible for programs relating to payroll, utility system accounting and billing, grant and loan administration and accounting, and other financial services relating to all city departments as may be necessary from time to time.
