FIREMEN’S RELIEF AND PENSION FUND*

2.52.010 Board established—Election of members.

There is created and established in the city of Shelton a board of trustees of the firemen’s relief and pension fund consisting of paid members of said fire department, to be elected by ballot by the paid firemen, for the terms provided by law, together with three persons holding office therein, other than the mayor and clerk, who shall be elected as trustees of the firemen’s relief and pension fund of said city by the other members of the board of trustees. 2.52.020 Fund created.

There is created in the treasury of the city of Shelton a firemen’s relief and pension fund, into which shall be paid money as designated in RCW Chapter 41.16 (Laws of the state of Washington), and/or other provisions of the law. (Prior code § 2.48.020)

2.52.030 State statute adopted by reference.

RCW Chapter 41.16 (Laws of the state of Washington), relating to firemen’s relief and pension fund, and all laws of the state of Washington relating thereto, be, and referred to, adopted by the city of Shelton and made a part of this chapter in detail as though fully incorporated herein.
