Pursuant to RCW 29.45.120, the following compensation is set for election officers:
A. Judges and clerks of an election shall receive at least the minimum wage set forth in RCW 49.46.020;
B. Inspectors shall receive at least the minimum wage set forth in RCW 49.46.020; provided, that they shall also receive two hours additional time over that of the judges and clerks; and
C. The couriers picking up the election supplies and returning the election returns to the county auditor and the accounting board shall receive at least the minimum wage set forth in RCW 49.46.020. (Res. 1997-77 (part): Res. 1976-24 (part))
Editor’s note: Ord. 2013-02 repealed Section 2.44.020, regarding election districts, and adopted election district descriptions and maps in multiple exhibits attached to that ordinance. These exhibits are on file at the county. The maps and exhibits were amended by Ord. 2018-01 to update the Cascades precinct and North Bonneville precinct.
