ARTERIAL STREETS*

10.08.010 Designated.
The portions of the following streets are designated and classified arterial streets:
Fourth Avenue Northeast between Fifth Street Northeast and Highway Sign Route No. 17;
Fifth Street Northeast between Fourth Avenue Northeast and Third Avenue Northeast. (Ord. 404 § 1, 1970).
10.08.020 Classification approval by State Highway Commission.
The designation and classification set out in SLMC 10.08.010 shall become effective at the time the Washington State Highway Commission approves such classification. (Ord. 404 § 2, 1970).
10.08.030 Stop and yield sign erection authorized.
Upon receiving the written approval from the Washington State Highway Commission, the city superintendent is directed to erect and/or cause to be erected and maintained standard stop or yield signs to effectuate the change in arterial designation. (Ord. 404 § 3, 1970).
