21.10.010 Purpose.
This chapter implements the environmental goals and policies outlined in Chapter 8, Natural Environment, of the Spokane Valley Comprehensive Plan identified as the Shoreline Management and Restoration Program (SMP) and the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). Critical areas identified by this chapter include flood hazard (floodprone) areas, shorelines, wetlands, fish and wildlife habitat, geo-hazard areas, and critical aquifer recharge areas.
