2.52.030 Other officials and employees.

2.52.010 Council members.
The compensation of the council members of the city of Sumas, to be paid to them as full compensation for the services rendered by them for and on behalf of the city in the performance of their respective duties, is fixed at one hundred fifty dollars per month. (Ord. 1776 § 1, 2020)
2.52.015 Mayor compensation.
The compensation of the mayor of the city of Sumas, to be paid to him or her as full compensation for the services rendered by him or her for and on behalf of the city in the performance of his or her respective duties, is fixed at six hundred dollars per month. Additionally, the mayor shall be paid a travel stipend of one hundred twenty-five dollars per month. (Ord. 1776 § 1, 2020)
2.52.020 Absences allowed.
Council members shall be paid for excused absences from regular council meetings. (Ord. 1776 § 1, 2020)
2.52.030 Other officials and employees.
The salary of all other officials and employees of the city shall be fixed by ordinance of the city. (Ord. 1776 § 1, 2020)
