3.30.020 Additional fees and costs.

The fees and charges established in this chapter shall not preclude the collection of fees or charges adopted or enacted which have been omitted from this chapter. Additionally, in the event the amount of any fee or charge set forth in this chapter is inconsistent with the amount of any fee or charge set forth in the Sumas Municipal Code, the higher fee or charge shall be applied. 3.30.030 Availability of schedule.

The fee schedule established in this chapter shall be posted in a conspicuous place in City Hall and a copy of said schedule shall be made available to persons who request it. (Ord. 1570 § 2 (part), 2011)

3.30.040 Administrative charge.

A charge shall be applied to all fees and charges for the use of city facilities, the use of city equipment in connection with a work order, development and land use fees, utility connections, call outs and other services as an administrative charge, including for processing, monitoring, billing, clerical and other related or similar costs. The administrative charge shall be ten percent of the underlying fee or charge.

In the event that the city clerk/treasurer determines in his or her discretion that a category of fee or charge, other than a category specifically listed above, results in no material processing, monitoring, billing, clerical or other related or similar costs, then the administrative charge shall not be applied to that category of fee or charge.
