20.100.020 Authority to grant.
20.100.010 Purposes.
A modification of the terms of this division may be granted because of unusual shade, exceptional topographic conditions, geological problems or other extraordinary situation or condition in connection with a specific piece of property when the literal enforcement of this division would involve practical difficulties or result in an undesirable plat. 20.100.020 Authority to grant.
The city council shall have the authority to grant variances from the provisions of this division, provided the subdivider proves that the literal enforcement of this division would involve practical difficulties or result in an undesirable plat, and that such variances will not impair the maintenance of public health and safety.
