MUNICIPAL COURT

2.44.030 Police court justice – Term.
2.44.010 Established.
There is established a municipal court within the city to be known as “the municipal court of Tonasket” pursuant to Chapter 3.50 RCW as now provided (as amended by Chapter 258, Laws of 1984) or as subsequently amended. (Ord. 365 § 1, 1984).
2.44.020 Jurisdiction.
The municipal court of Tonasket shall have jurisdiction and shall exercise all powers as provided by Chapter 3.50 RCW as now provided (as amended by Chapter 258, Laws of 1984) or as subsequently amended. (Ord. 365 § 2, 1984).
2.44.030 Police court justice – Term.
Pursuant to Section 106, Chapter 258, Laws of 1984, the present police court justice, if any, shall continue to hold office until January 1, 1986, and his successor shall be appointed and confirmed thereafter pursuant to RCW 3.50.040 as now provided (as amended by Section 106, Chapter 258, Laws of 1984) or as subsequently amended.
