9.50.010 Unlawful to discharge within city limits.

It is unlawful for any person to discharge any revolver, pistol, gun or other firearm, or to fire or detonate any torpedo, bomb or other explosive at any place within the corporate limits of the city; provided, that nothing contained in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the discharge of firearms by any peace officer while in the exercise of his duties as such officer; and provided, further, that nothing contained in this section shall abridge the right of an individual guaranteed by Article I, Section 24, of the Washington State Constitution, to bear arms in defense of self or others. 9.50.020 Carrying of firearms.

The city of Tonasket is exempt from the prohibitions set forth in Section 405(4), Chapter 7, First Special Session, Laws of 1994 (ESHB 2319, Subsection 4), as presently enacted and as may be hereafter modified or recodified. (Ord. 480 § 1, 1994).
