ZONING MAP AND DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

17.15.010 Established.

The location and boundaries of the districts designated in Chapter 17.05 TMC are established as shown on the map entitled “Zoning Map of the City of Tonasket.” The zoning map shall be dated with the effective date of the ordinance codified in this title and signed by the mayor of the city. The signed copy of the zoning map shall be maintained without change on file with the city clerk-treasurer and is made a part of this title. (Ord. 778 § 2 (Exh. A), 2017).

17.15.020 District boundaries.

Unless otherwise specified, district boundaries are lot lines, and the centerline of streets and railroad rights-of-way or such lines extended. Where a district boundary divides a land parcel under single ownership into two districts the entire parcel shall be zoned for the less restrictive use by the adjustment of the boundaries, provided the boundary adjustment is a distance of less than 20 feet. If the adjustment involves a distance of more than 20 feet, the procedure for an amendment to the zoning map shall be followed. (Ord. 778 § 2 (Exh. A), 2017).

17.15.030 Adoption of comprehensive plan.

The comprehensive plan of the city of Tonasket is adopted as the comprehensive plan of the city. (Resolution 2017-04.) (Ord. 778 § 2 (Exh. A), 2017).
