CITY FLOWER

1.10.010 Designated.
The City Council designates the rhododendron as the official flower of the City of University Place.

1.10.020 Quality of life.
The City Council and the citizens recognize that the planting and cultivation of rhododendrons and other native vegetation enhances the quality of life in our community.

1.10.030 Cultivation.
Each resident is encouraged to plant and cultivate the “University Place City” Rhododendron and other varieties of rhododendrons for the general beautification of our community and to enhance the quality of life.
