CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS

1.30.010 Policy adopted.
The city of Wenatchee adopts the policy for the payment of all claims or other obligations of the city of Wenatchee, which are payable out of solvent funds, by check; provided, however, that no check shall be issued when the applicable fund is not solvent at the time payment is made. 1.30.020 Authorization.
The checks shall be drawn on a qualified public depository as selected by the finance director and confirmed by the city council as the most qualified and cost-effective service provider and the officers authorized to sign said checks shall be any two of the following: mayor, finance director and assistant finance director.
