EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION

1.46.010 Established.
Pursuant to Chapter 38.52 RCW, the Chelan County emergency management department is designated as the emergency management organization for the purpose of performing local emergency management functions for the city of Wenatchee. (Ord. 2020-18 § 1; Ord. 2000-18 § 1)
1.46.020 Director.
The director of the emergency management organization shall be the Chelan County sheriff or his/her designated representative, unless and until another person is appointed by the city council. The director shall be directly responsible for the organization, administration, and operation of the emergency management organization. (Ord. 2020-18 § 2; Ord. 2015-14 § 1; Ord. 2000-18 § 2)
1.46.030 Powers.
The emergency management organization shall have all powers granted under Chapter 38.52 RCW as now or hereafter amended and as may otherwise be provided by law. (Ord. 2000-18 § 3)
