TOURISM PROMOTION FUND

3.49.010 Source of money.
There exists a tourism promotion fund into which shall be placed all monies received by the city from the special excise tax of two percent on the sale of or charge made for the furnishing of lodging that is subject to the tax under Chapter 82.08 RCW. [Ord. 26-17 § 1(1), 2017].
3.49.020 Use of funds.
Monies received and deposited into the tourism promotion fund shall be used and expended for the purpose of paying all or any part of the cost of tourist promotion, acquisition of tourism-related facilities, or operation of tourism-related facilities or to pay for any other uses as authorized in Chapter 67.28 RCW, as now or hereafter amended.
