PETTY CASH AND CHANGE FUNDS

3.32.010    Petty cash fund established.

3.32.010 Petty cash fund established.

There is hereby established a petty cash fund. The petty cash fund shall not exceed $100.00. The initial $100.00 to fund the petty cash fund shall be taken from the current expense fund. The city finance director shall accurately record all expenditures made from the petty cash fund and charge to the appropriate city fund all funds taken from the petty cash fund. The charged funds shall reimburse the petty cash fund within 30 days. (Ord. 1706, 2025; Ord. 1272, 2002; Ord. 525, 1977)

3.32.015 Change fund established.

There is hereby established a change fund. The change fund shall not exceed $400.00. The initial $400.00 to fund the change fund shall be taken from the current expense fund. The city finance director shall accurately record all expenditures made from the change fund. The overall limit of all change funds is not to exceed $400.00 without prior council approval.
