FIRE RESERVE FUND

3.84.010 Created.
There is created by the Westport fire department a fire reserve fund line item within the cumulative reserve fund No. 100 for the replacement of fire vehicles. The amount is to be established from year to year in the fire budget. (Ord. 1138, 1998)
3.84.020 Intent – Replacement of funds.
It may be necessary to use the fund for fire vehicle repair upon approval by the city council. It is understood that these funds will be replaced by earnings that are received for services rendered by the fire department. (Ord. 1138, 1998)
3.84.030 Accumulation of funds.
The fire reserve transfer originated in the 1997 budget and will accumulate from year to year until rescinded by city council. (Ord. 1138, 1998)
