6.10.010 Prohibited where.

No person shall throw, drop, deposit, discard or otherwise dispose of garbage, refuse or litter upon any public property in the city or upon private property in this city not owned by him including but not limited to any public highway, street, public park, beach, campground, forest land, recreational area, trailer park, highway, road, street or alley. (Ord. 772 § 1, 1985)

6.10.020 Unlawful use of garbage containers.

It is unlawful for any person who is not a tenant, licensee, permittee or employee of a business or authorized user of the city garbage services to place garbage, refuse or litter in or near any garbage containers in the city. (Ord. 772 § 2, 1985)

6.10.030 Violation Penalty.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction and the fine or bail forfeiture for such violation shall not be less than $25.00 for each offense and in addition thereto in the sound discretion of any court in which conviction is obtained, such person may be directed by the judge to pickup and remove from any public place or any private property with prior permission of the legal owner upon which, it is established by competent evidence that such person has deposited litter, garbage or refuse any or all garbage, refuse or litter deposed thereon by anyone prior to the date of execution of sentence.
