2.10.010 Treasurer and Clerk combined.

The office of the Treasurer of the Town of Wilkeson and the Clerk of the Town of Wilkeson be and the same are hereby combined under the authority of RCW 35.27.180 of the Laws of the State of Washington. [Ord. 82 § 1, 1957].

2.10.020 Investing Town funds.

As authorized by the Chapter 46 Extraordinary Session and specifically House Bill No. 392, the Town Clerk/Treasurer of the Town of Wilkeson is hereby designated the Town official authorized to invest Town funds and convert investments or any part thereof into cash, all as authorized by laws of the State of Washington, without the consent of the Town Council for each investment. 2.10.030 Duties.

The duties formally held by the position of Budget Director/Council Auditing Officer are to be assumed by the Town Clerk/Treasurer. [Ord. 93.11 § 2, 1993].

2.10.040 Receiving claims.

The Town Clerk/Treasurer is designated and authorized to receive claims made against the Town of Wilkeson on behalf of the Town of Wilkeson. [Amended during 2014 codification; Ord. 2001.11 § 1, 2001].
