9.40.010 Dangerous materials on public streets – Violation – Penalty.

Any person, firm, or corporation who throws, places, or deposits, in any manner whatsoever, in or upon any public street, alley, or highway, within the Town of Wilkeson, any bottle, glass, glassware, tacks or nails, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00). 9.40.020 Uncontained sand or gravel – Violation – Penalty.

It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to haul, transport, or carry upon, onto, over, or across any paved public property within the Town of Wilkeson, any sand, gravel, stone, coal, or other hard substance unless the same is contained within a box or other receptacle which is of sufficient strength and construction to prevent any of such sand, gravel, stone, coal, or other hard substance from falling or dropping upon such pavement. Any person, firm, or corporation which hauls, carries, or transports any sand, gravel, stone, coal, or other hard substance upon, over, or across any such pavement in such manner as to permit any substance thereof to drop or fall upon such pavement is guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or by a jail sentence of five (5) days, or both said fine and jail sentence.
