3.39.010 Fund created—Source—Purpose—Records.

There is hereby created a fund to be known as the payroll fund, into which fund there may be placed from time to time such amounts from any funds available as the city manager or the city council shall in his or its discretion direct, and upon which fund warrants may be drawn and cashed for the purpose of paying any moneys due city employees for salaries and wages. Appropriate accounting records shall be kept to show the department or departments and the various amounts to which payments from said fund are properly chargeable. (Ord. B-2112 § 1, 1957).

3.39.020 Transfers.

Transfers from a solvent fund to the payroll fund may be either by transfer or by warrant as the finance officer deems appropriate. Transfers from an insolvent fund to the payroll fund shall be by warrant upon the properly drawn vouchers. (Ord. B-2112 § 2, 1957).
