4.72.010 Separation of drinking water from irrigation water.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to in any manner interconnect with or maintain any interconnection between the water supply of the domestic water system from which water is procured for drinking, cooking, consuming or any other domestic use, and any water system or water supply whereby water is furnished to be used for irrigation purposes, and all plumbing and piping shall be so laid, constructed and adjusted as not to permit water entering from any irrigation system carrying irrigation water to any domestic water system or supply. (Ord. A-784 § 1, 1923).

4.72.020 Penalty for violations.

Every person violating this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. (Ord. A-784 § 2, 1923).
