MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT

6.24.040 Board of Trustees Appointment.
6.24.010 Established.
Mosquito Control District No. 1 is established and organized in accordance with the board’s order, on file in the office of the clerk of the board, and RCW Chapter 17.28.

6.24.020 Copy Filed.
The clerk of the Board of Yakima County commissioners shall immediately file for record in the office of the county auditor, and cause to be filed with the Secretary of State, a certified copy of the resolution codified in this chapter, together with its attachments.

6.24.030 Organization.
From and after the date of the filing of said certified copy with the Secretary of State, Mosquito Control District No. 1 is organized as a district with all the rights, privileges and powers set forth in RCW Chapter 17.28, or necessarily incident thereto, including the obligation to pay the expenses of the mosquito control district election as determined by the county auditor.

6.24.040 Board of Trustees Appointment.
The board shall take appropriate steps to fulfill its obligation to appoint, within thirty days of the filing with the Secretary of State of a certified copy of the resolution codified in this chapter, the five members of the board of trustees of Mosquito Control District No. 1, who shall be electors of the county and residents of that portion of the county which is in said district.
