20.24.010 Project inspection/town access.

A. All projects with a site development permit are subject to town inspections to assure compliance with the permit. As a condition of permit issuance, the applicant must grant right of entry for such inspections and town emergency corrective measures pursuant to YPMC 20.24.020.

B. The town will specify the general stages of work when town inspection is required and may require inspection and testing by an approved testing agency, to be paid for by the applicant.

C. The permittee must give the town at least 24 hours of advance notice prior to needing inspections. (Ord. 607 § 1, 2009)

20.24.020 Emergency conditions requiring immediate action.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this code, whenever it reasonably appears to the town that conditions covered by this code require immediate action to protect the public health, safety, or public resources, the town is authorized to the extent permitted by law to enter at all reasonable times in or upon any property, public or private, for the purpose of inspecting and investigating such emergency conditions. The town may without prior notice order the immediate discontinuance of any activity leading to the emergency condition. Failure to comply with such order shall constitute a civil violation pursuant to YPMC 20.36.010. (Ord. 607 § 1, 2009)
