MAYOR PRO TEMPORE

2.06.010 Appointment.
A mayor pro tempore shall be appointed from among their membership by a majority of the city council members at the first meeting of the newly elected council at the beginning of each biennium, commencing January 1, 2002. (Ord. 758 § 1, 2002).
2.06.020 Successor.
If at any time the appointed mayor pro tempore shall be unable or unwilling to serve or to continue to so serve, then a successor mayor pro tempore shall be appointed by the remaining city council members in the same manner and such successor mayor pro tempore shall serve the remainder of such term.
