EMERGENCY STREET CLOSURE*

12.04.010 Authority.
The council of the city may, in accordance with Chapter 53 of the Laws of 1937, as codified in RCW 47.48.030, provide for the emergency closure of any street in the city or any portion of such street. (Ord. 83 § 1, 1957).
12.04.020 Notices posted upon streets.
Said resolution shall provide for the posting of notices upon the streets or portions of streets to be closed at all streets intersecting the closed portion of such street and by causing a copy of such notice of closure to be published in the official newspaper of the city in the first publication of such newspaper following the effective date of the closure. The effective date and time of the closure shall be the time of the posting of the notice of closure as provided herein. (Ord. 83 § 2, 1957).
