3.560 Director of Parks and Recreation.

There is hereby created the office of the Director of Parks and Recreation, who shall perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Wisconsin Statutes and the Common Council. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall be in charge of the Parks and Recreation Department and is responsible for the overall management and operation of all City Parks Divisions, including the Aquatic Center, Zoo, Senior Center, and all recreation programming. The Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to purchase small animals for the Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo as the zoo budget allows.
