LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE CODE1:
12-1.1 District Fire Code Adopted:
Adopts the 2017 District Fire Code as the fire code for the city. (Ord. #1710, §1)
12-1.2 Ratification:
Ratifies the ordinance amending the district fire code adopted on January 24, 2017, by the board of supervisors which contains more restrictive building standards. (Ord. #1710, §2)
12-1.3 More Restrictive Building Standards:
Finds that the more restrictive building standards contained in the district fire code are reasonably necessary due to local climatic, geological, or topographical conditions in the city and adopts by reference the specific findings made in section 324 of the ordinance adopted by the board of supervisors regarding these local conditions, a copy of which is attached to the ordinance codified in this section as Exhibit 1. 12-1.4 Authority:
Delegates authority to enforce the district fire code, including the more restrictive building standards contained in the district fire code, to the district fire chief, pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 13869.7. (Ord. #1710, §4)
