14.20.010 Adoption.

The 2016 California Electrical Code, which is based upon the 2014 National Electrical Code and is published by the California Building Standards Commission as Part 3 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations, referred to as the “code” in this chapter, except as specifically repealed or amended by the city of Dinuba, is adopted by the city, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 50022.1 through 50022.8, inclusive, of the California Government Code. 14.20.020 Copies on file.

Three copies of said California Electrical Code have been deposited and are on file in the office of the city clerk for use and examination by the public. Said code consists of primary and secondary codes. (Ord. 2007-11 (part), 2007: Ord. 2004-5 (part), 2004: Ord. 541 § 2, 1975)

14.20.025 Adoption of subsequent supplements, revisions and amendments.

All supplements, revisions and amendments to the code as may be hereafter approved and adopted by the state are adopted and made a part of this code. (Ord. 2007-11 (part), 2007: Ord. 2004-5 (part), 2004: Ord. 595 § 2, 1978: Ord. 541 §2, 1975)

14.20.030 Fees established.

The council establishes the fees listed in Exhibit “A” attached to the ordinance codified in this chapter and made a part of this chapter in connection with the code. The fees may be revised by resolution or minute order. (Ord. 2007-11 (part), 2007: Ord. 2004-5 (part), 2004: Ord. 595 § 3, 1978)

14.20.040 Violation—Infraction.

Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter, including any violation of the provisions of the National Electrical Code and the California Electrical Code, or all other amendments, revisions or supplements, shall be guilty of an infraction and upon the conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding fifty dollars for a first violation; a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for a second violation of the same ordinance within one year; a fine not exceeding two hundred fifty dollars for each additional violation of the same ordinance within one year.
