6.08.010 Prohibited—Exceptions.

No person shall display, sell, offer for sale, barter or give away any baby rabbit, chick, duckling or other fowl as a pet or novelty; but this section shall not be construed to prohibit the display or sale of these animals in proper facilities by dealers, hatcheries or other stores or other persons engaged in the business of selling the animals to be raised for food. 6.08.020 Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating Section 6.08.010 shall be guilty of an infraction and shall be punishable as provided in Section 1.08.020. (Ord. 677 § 1 (part), 1975; Ord. 464 § 2, 1964)
