2.45.010 Appointment of a building official.
The board of trustees shall appoint a building official to administer and enforce the provisions of the building code. The board may, instead of appointing a building official, contract with another governmental body or an official of another governmental body for the performance of all or part of the duties of the building official by such officer, entity or governmental body.
The town manager or other officers of the town shall perform such duties in connection with the administration and enforcement of the building code as the board may direct. [Amended during 2011 recodification. Code 1999 § 4-2-1].
