9.08.010 Escape from custody.

It is unlawful for any person incarcerated in the city jail to escape or attempt to escape from such custody. (Ord. 306 §71, 1951).

9.08.020 Aiding escape.

It is unlawful for any person to aid, abet or assist the escape of any person confined in the city jail, whether such person so confined is in custody pending hearing or serving sentence upon conviction, and whether such escape is successfully effected or not. (Ord. 306 §72, 1951).

9.08.030 Liquor delivery.

It is unlawful for any person to deliver, by any method whatsoever, any intoxicating liquor or narcotic drug to any person confined in the city jail or to attempt to convey or deliver to any such person any article without the permission and consent of the officer in charge. (Ord. 306 §73, 1951).

9.08.040 Labor.

In all cases of conviction for any of the offenses mentioned in this title, where the penalty fixed by the court is confinement in the city jail for any term, the court additionally may order that such convicted person, during the term of his imprisonment, labor upon the streets or public works of the city under the direction of the proper authorities. (Ord. 306 §74, 1951).
