12.15.010 Avenues and streets designated.
All of the streets running east and west in the city of Creswell shall hereafter be known as avenues and all of the streets running north and south shall hereafter be known as streets. [Ord. 121 § 1, 1950].
12.15.020 Street names.
A. The old Highway 99 South from the intersection of Oregon Avenue and lying east of the railroad tracks shall be known as Mill Street. Mill Street shall include such part of Highway 99 as is presently located on the east side of the railroad tracks.
B. The name of Clark Street shall be changed to Scarbrough Avenue.
C. Avon Street shall be changed to Gilfrey Avenue.
D. Oregon Avenue shall be known as such east and west to the city limits. [Ord. 121 § 2, 1950].
12.15.030 Copy to be recorded.
Within 30 days after the ordinance codified in this chapter becomes effective, the city recorder shall cause a certified copy of same to be recorded in the office of the county clerk of Lane County. [Ord. 121 § 3, 1950].
12.15.040 Directions established.
All streets and avenues shall be given the prefix north, south, east or west beginning at the base lines established and in accordance with the direction said streets and avenues extend from the base lines. [Ord. 121 § 4, 1950].
