4.48.010 Created – Powers and duties.

There is created a human services advisory board that shall advise the city council on the following issues:

(1) Determination of priorities of human service needs within the city in accordance with the current human services plan.

(2) Evaluation and recommendation on funding human service requests submitted to the city.

(3) Evaluation and review of the performance of individual human service organizations and agencies. [Ord. 1047 § 1, 1993.]

4.48.020 Membership – Residency requirements – Term.

(1) The human services advisory board shall consist of seven members, one of which shall be the city’s representative to the Human Services Roundtable or successor organization.

(2) Two members of the board need not be residents of the city.

(3) The term of office is two years. [Ord. 1084 § 1, 1994: Ord. 1047 § 2, 1993.]

4.48.030 Meetings – Reports.

(1) The human services advisory board meets a minimum of once each calendar quarter to:

(a) Review reports from funded agencies; and

(b) Formulate recommendations to the city council.

(2) The human services advisory board reports its recommendations to the city council during the month of August of each year. [Ord. 1084 § 2, 1994: Ord. 1047 § 3, 1993.]
