CITY OFFICE HOURS

1.12.020 Applicability to council chamber use.
1.12.010 Establishment.
The City Hall for the city shall be open to transact public business from and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. These shall be the hours during which City Hall shall be open to the public on all days except for weekends and recognized holidays. (Ord. 873 § 1, 1988)
1.12.020 Applicability to council chamber use.
This chapter shall not affect the public nature of city council meetings, work sessions, and meetings of the Zillah planning commission. The council chambers shall be open to the public during such meetings; however, other offices of City Hall shall not be open for transaction of public business unless such meeting falls within the hours set forth in ZMC 1.12.010.
