6.24.010 Beekeeping prohibited.

Keeping bees and maintaining apiaries, or either such act, within the corporate limits of the city of Clarkston is hereby declared to be unlawful, as a nuisance and a menace to the public health, welfare and safety. [Ord. 409 § 1, 1941.]

6.24.020 Penalty for violations.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of CMC 6.24.010 shall be deemed guilty of an offense against the city of Clarkston, and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $100.00, or imprisonment in the city jail for a period not to exceed 30 days, or to both fine and imprisonment.
