17.215.010 General provisions.

The removal of ground cover and trees without proper planning can create environmental hazards, pose a hazard to property and lead to unsound development practices. It is not the intent to prohibit land clearing but to regulate its effects by issuance of a land clearing and erosion control permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 17.320 CBMC.
