* Statutory Authority. Certain building and construction codes are required to be adopted by all municipalities under Health and Safety Code § 17958. The specific codes are listed in Health and Safety Code § 17922. Cities are authorized to adopt codes by reference under California Government Code Section 50022.1 through 50022.8 et seq.
14.08.010 Adoption of the California Mechanical Code.
The 2025 California Mechanical Code, based on the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “code”), is hereby adopted by reference by the city of Dinuba, except as specifically repealed or amended, pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Sections 50022.1 through 50022.8, inclusive. 14.08.030 Adoption of subsequent supplements, revisions and amendments.
All supplements, revisions, and amendments to the California Mechanical Code hereafter approved and adopted by the state of California are incorporated into this code and made a part hereof. 14.08.050 Violation—Infraction.
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter, including any violation of the provisions of the California Mechanical Code or any amendments, revisions, or supplements thereto, shall be guilty of an infraction. Violations are subject to the penalties outlined in Chapter 1.18. (Ord. 2025-04 § 2, 2025)
