15.04.010 Purposes of title—Plan approval—Compliance with other regulations.
This title is adopted for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, convenience and general welfare; to specify design, improvement and survey data of subdivisions and the form and content of tentative maps, final maps, parcel maps and subdivision improvement plans. The procedure to be followed in securing official approval thereof shall be governed by the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act, adopted by the legislature of the state, and by the additional provisions of this title, and shall comply with the provisions of the general plan and zoning ordinance of the city. 15.04.020 Short title.
This title shall be known as the "Subdivision Ordinance of the city of Menlo Park." (Ord. 615 § 1 (part), 1977: Prior code § 24.2).
15.04.030 Planning commission designated advisory agency.
The planning commission of the city is designated as the advisory agency and has all the powers and duties with respect to subdivisions as provided in the Subdivision Map Act of the state and this title. (Ord. 615 § 1 (part), 1977: Prior code § 24.3).
15.04.040 City Council designated local governing body.
The City Council is designated as the local governing body and has all the powers and duties with respect to subdivisions as provided in the Subdivision Map Act and this title. (Ord. 615 § 1 (part), 1977).
15.04.050 Records.
The city engineer shall obtain and maintain records of flood elevations in the designated flood hazard area. (Ord. 658 § 2(a), 1980).
