SEVERABILITY

8.86.010 Severability.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this title is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this title; and the City Council of the City of Mt. Shasta hereby declares that it would have passed the ordinance codified in this title and each section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more of the sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional. Provided further, that if any provision of this title or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, said title or the application of said provisions to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
