ROAD IMPROVEMENT STANDARDS

12.28.010 Adopted.
The city of San Jacinto hereby adopts and incorporates into this chapter the County of Riverside County Road Improvement Standards and Specifications, Eastern Municipal Water District Standard and Specifications for Developer Projects, and Riverside County Flood and Water Conservation District Design Manual and Standards, as the standards that shall be used on public works of the city, common interest developments as defined in Section 1351 of the California Civil Code, and subdivisions for which a tentative and final map or parcel map are required and other public works improvements. The requirements of this section may be waived by resolution of the city council of the city of San Jacinto if the city council determines that the health, safety and welfare of the city’s citizens will be promoted. 12.28.020 Copies on file.
At least one copy of County of Riverside County Road Improvement Standards and Specifications, Eastern Municipal Water District Standard and Specifications for Developer Projects, and Riverside County Flood and Water Conservation District Design Manual and Standards, all certified to be true copies by the city clerk, shall be filed in the office of the city clerk at least fifteen (15) days preceding the hearing required by Section 2 of Ordinance 1102-02-09, and shall be kept there for public inspection while this chapter is in force. Following the adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter the city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the Riverside County Transportation Department Standards, the Eastern Municipal Water District Water and Sewer Specifications, and the Riverside County Flood Control District Standards and Specifications, available for purchase by the public at a price not to exceed the actual cost thereof to the city. 12.28.030 Amendments.
If at any time the County of Riverside County Road Improvement Standards and Specifications, Eastern Municipal Water District Standard and Specifications for Developer Projects, and Riverside County Flood and Water Conservation District Design Manual and Standards, or all of them, shall be amended by the agency that originally promulgated or adopted, then the city council may adopt such amendment by reference through Government Code Sections 50022.1 et seq., or their successor statutes. 12.28.040 Violation—Penalty.
Each and every violation of Section 12.28.010 shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable pursuant to San Jacinto Municipal Code Section 1.24.010. (Ord. 1102-02-09 § 6)
