10.16.010 One-way streets.

In accordance with Section 10.04.010, and when properly signposted, traffic should move only in the direction indicated upon the following streets: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. (Prior code § 17.83)

10.16.020 Through streets.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10.24.060, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop at the entrance or entrances to those intersections described as follows: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. (Prior code § 17.84)

10.16.030 Stop intersections.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10.24.060, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop at the entrance or entrances to those intersections described as follows: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. (Prior code § 17.85)

10.16.040 Railroad stops.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 10.24.050, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop before crossing the railroad tracks at those highway railway grade crossings described as follows: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. 10.16.050 Angle parking on certain streets.

In accordance with Section 10.12.070, and when signs or markings are in place giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicle may stand or park a vehicle only as indicated by such marks or signs on the following streets or portions thereof: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. 10.16.060 Parking time limited on certain streets.

In accordance with Section 10.12.310 of this title, parking of vehicles or certain types of vehicles is limited to the times specified by the signs previously or hereafter specified by resolution or ordinance of the city. Vehicles parked in violation may be towed, provided the signs give notice thereof. (Ord. 05-004 § 6, 2005: prior code § 17.88)

10.16.070 Parking prohibited at all times on certain streets.

In accordance with Section 10.12.320 of this title, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall at any time park any vehicle, or certain types of vehicles, upon any of the streets or parts of streets previously or hereafter designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. Vehicles parked in violation may be towed, provided the signs give notice thereof. (Ord. 05-004 § 7, 2005: prior code § 17.89)

10.16.075 Street sweeping.

A.    The parking or standing of vehicles on all streets or highways in the city is prohibited on such days and hours that city street sweepers may be in operation thereon, such days and hours to be determined and posted by the public works administrator.

B.    This section shall not be effective with regard to the parking or standing of commercial vehicles in a residential district making pickups or deliveries of goods, wares, or merchandise from or to any building or structure located on the restricted street or highway, or for the purpose of delivering materials to be used in the repair, alteration, remodeling or reconstruction of any building or structure for which a building permit has previously been obtained.

C.    This section shall not be effective with regard to any particular street or highway or portion thereof until the street or highway, or portion thereof, has been posted in accordance with the requirements of Section 22507.6 of the California Vehicle Code. Vehicles parked in violation of this section may be towed.

D.    The penalty for violation of this section is set at twenty dollars, and Resolution 93-104 is amended to so reflect. The amount of this fine may be amended by resolution. (Ord. No. 94-009, Enacted, 07/18/94)

10.16.080 Truck routes.

In accordance with Section 10.04.110, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, the following streets or portions of streets are truck traffic routes for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of three tons: those designated by resolution or ordinance of the city. 10.16.090 Commercial vehicles prohibited on certain streets.

In accordance with Section 10.04.120, the following streets and parts of streets are streets the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicle: those designated by ordinance or resolution of the city. (Prior code § 17.91)
