SIDEWALK DISPLAYS

5-6-01 Permits required.
It shall be unlawful for any person owning or occupying any premises fronting on any public street in the City to place any goods, wares, or merchandise for the purpose of exhibition, display, or advertisement on any portion of the sidewalk or street in front of such premises, to permit any such goods, wares, or merchandise to remain thereon, or to permit anything to remain in front of any premises occupied by him which will in any manner restrict the public use of such sidewalk or street, except where a permit shall be granted by the Council.
