2.15.010 Qualifications.

Trustees shall be qualified electors who have resided within the limits of the town for a period of at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election; provided, that in case of annexation, any person who has resided within the annexed territory for the time prescribed shall be deemed to have met the residence requirements. Trustees shall reside in the town of Granby during the term hereof. When any trustee ceases to reside within the limits of the town, he or she may be removed from office pursuant to this section by a majority vote of all members of the board of trustees. 2.15.020 Term of office.

Trustees shall be elected to serve a four-year term. At each regular election, three trustees shall be elected to serve four-year terms. [Ord. 239, 1974. Code 1999 § 2-3-2].

2.15.030 Compensation.

The compensation payable to the members of the board of trustees of the town of Granby, Colorado, shall be $500.00 per month during their terms of office. [Ord. 656 § 2, 2006; Ord. 599 § 2, 2003; Ord. 491 § 2, 1999. Code 1999 § 2-3-3].

2.15.040 Oath.

Before entering upon the duties of the office, a trustee shall take an oath or affirmation of office. [Code 1999 § 2-3-4].

2.15.050 Attendance.

It shall be the duty of the members of the town board to attend all regular and special meetings. If any member of the board shall, without being excused by the board, miss three or more consecutive regular or special meetings or four meetings in a year, it shall be grounds for charges and a hearing to remove the board member.
