E-2 ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT

17.25.005 Building height.

Maximum building height in this district shall be thirty-five feet, except that the maximum building height of the large format theater to be constructed on Lot 1, Block 3 of this district shall be fifty feet. (Ord. 150, 1993)

17.25.010 Intent.

For the purposes of this district, the uses of land shall be those of a public entertainment and educational nature for the purposes of providing educational and informative opportunities to the people visiting the area. In this district small commercial retail shall only be allowed when in conjunction as a complement to the permitted uses. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)

17.25.020 Permitted uses.

The uses permitted in the E-2 district are as follows:

1.    Information center;

2.    Museum;

3.    Residential uses for caretaker or security people only;

4.    Theaters, including large format theaters such as IMAX;

5.    Visitor center;

6.    Zoos, wildlife sanctuary; and

7.    Conditional uses provided in Section 17.32.050 and subject to conditions and requirements prescribed therein. (Ord. 163 (part), 1994: Ord. 147 (part), 1992)

17.25.030 Lot area and width.

17.25.040 Lot coverage.

The entire lot, exclusive of required yards and parking, may be occupied by the principal and accessory uses. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)

17.25.050 Yard requirements.

No requirements for yards. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)

17.25.060 Off-street parking.

Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.42. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)

17.25.070 Off-street loading.

Off-street loading for the district shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.44. (Ord. 147 (part), 1992)
