OFFENSES AGAINST PROPERTY

9.16.010 Criminal trespass.

A person commits the crime of criminal trespass if he enters or remains unlawfully in a dwelling or other structure. [Ord. 355 § 8, 1985.]

9.16.020 Offensive littering.

A person commits the crime of offensive littering if he creates an objectionable stench or degrades the beauty or appearance of property or detracts from the natural cleanliness or safety of property by intentionally:

A. Discarding or depositing any rubbish, trash, garbage, debris or other refuse upon the land of another without permission of the owner, or upon any city property or public way;

B. Draining or causing or permitting to be drained, sewage or the drainage from a cesspool, septic tank, recreational or camping vehicle waste holding tank or other contaminated source, upon the land of another without permission of the owner, or upon any public property; or

C. Permitting any rubbish, trash, garbage, debris or other refuse to be thrown from the vehicle which he is operating; except that this subsection shall not apply to a person operating a vehicle transporting passengers for hire subject to regulation by the Interstate Commerce Commission or the Public Utility Commission of Oregon. 9.16.030 Poster – Unauthorized.

It is unlawful for any person to affix a placard, bill or poster upon any personal or real property, private or public, without first obtaining permission of the owner or proper public authority. [Ord. 355 § 23, 1985.]

9.16.040 Property – Malicious destruction.

It is unlawful for any person maliciously to deface, injure or destroy any personal or real property of another. [Ord. 355 § 24, 1985.]

9.16.050 Violation – Penalty.

Any person violating any of the provisions of CMC 9.16.010 through 9.16.040 shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as a Class A infraction, by a fine of not more than $500.00. [Ord. 355 § 26, 1985.]

9.16.060 Bicycles – Skateboards.

A. No person shall skate, ride bicycles, scooters, skateboards or similar conveyances on the sidewalks of the city of Culver.

B. Violation of this section shall constitute a Class B infraction. [Ord. 01-01 § 1, 2001; Ord. 358 §§ 1, 2, 1985.]
